And now your back from out of space

I'm back people and I now have my new toy which is...................

A Mac Book Pro!

Now I have the Mac Pro I will be able to do a lot more blog posts and will be able to make You Tube videos as well!

I was originally doing my blog posts on my iPad and then uploading photos on Mr WWM's PC but it was a hassle so with the Mac Book I can do everything at once!

I shall be doing FOTD and OOTD posts as well as showing you my beauty collections! If there is any thing you would like me to write about or film then let me know and I will grant your wishes!

Until my next post..

Feel Unique Beauty Box

Hello beauty fans.

As you probably all know Glossybox is currently making waves amongst UK beauty fans, sometimes good waves and sometimes bad. However as Glossybox can be rather hit and miss with their samples I thought I would cast my net out and see what other companies are offering.

I was browsing on FeelUnique's website when I stumbled upon an advert for their own beauty box so I signed up and my box came through the other day.

The packaging, as you can see, is not as girly pretty as Glossybox's but it's still pretty slick and certainly re-usable.

You get a little card advising of the products and a little discount code for 10% off the full-size products.

I also got a little note apologising for the delay in the box getting to me and with some extra samples.

The main samples in the box this month are:
Phillip Kingsley Elasticizer- 20ml. A pre- shampoo treatment meant to smooth, strengthen and as the name suggests stretches the hair.

Ella Baché Crème Tomate Vitamin Radiance Cream- 30ml. Face cream containing tomato extracts to purify and brighten the complexion.

Redken Quick Dry 18- 100ml. A firm hold hairspray which gives a healthy shine, perfect handbag size.

Di Palomo Wild Fig & Grape Enriching Hand & Nail Cream- 25ml. A beautiful smelling hand cream with grape seed oil, olive oil and fig fruit extracts to aid the production of healthy skin tissue.

Gatineau Floracil Gentle Cleansing Lotion for Eyes- 50ml. A non-oily cleansing and soothing eye makeup remover containing the same pH as our tears.

The extra products that I was sent were a 1ml sample of Elie Saab perfume and a 3ml sample of Caudalié Vinoperfect Daily Perfecting Fluid.

The samples are all pretty decent and usable and for £10 a month including P&P it's pretty darn decent.

Whether Feelunique will go down the same line as Glossybox and charge P&P remains to be seen but as feelunique.com don't charge for their normal products I very much doubt they will.

I'll certainly get at least 2 more of these boxes to gauge the quality and consistency of the products, as as we all know this is where Glossybox often falls down.

Let me know if any of you girls out there have signed up for the feelunique box and/or any other monthly beauty boxes.

Chronicles of a Beauty Nerd

Hey lovelies

I've been busy busy at work and trying to get packed for my holiday to the sunny shores of Northumbria. However whilst in a brief period of down time I have been surfing the net, as you do, and stumbled across this amazing beauty blog Chronicles of a Beauty Nerd.
They are based in Canada and not only have beauty posts they also post recipes on there which sound divine.
The blog is sooooooo pretty and whilst us Brits may just have to lust over some of the products mentioned, it is well worth a read.
So go forth and take a look

Garnier BB Cream review

Wow what a week of varied weather the UK has had! One minute it's glorious sunshine and temperatures to rival those in North Africa, the next minute it's torrential rain and thunder storms! One thing has got me through this bizarre British summer and that it Garnier's new BB cream.

This product has SPF 15 which for normal overcast days is sufficient but in extreme weather the SPF isn't so good, but if like me you work in an office and hardly get to see the sun during daylight hours then it's perfect! It also has light coverage (even though the colour selections are currently limited to light and normal) which I would say is slightly lighter that Channel's Vitalumiere Aqua (which I LOVE!). So if like me you like a light coverage during the summer months it is brilliant just to wear on its own, however if you are concious of any blemishes or imperfections on  your face then I would recommend using the BB cream as a base. I have literally just been cleansing and toning my face and then applying the BB cream before heading out for work.

But beware the BB cream makes your skin look nice and dewy but a little goes a long way as I discovered when I accidentally squeezed too much out the tube and looked a little too shiny faced!

I think once Garnier release more colours, like they did with their tinted caffeine roll on, this product will be brilliant! But at the moment, for me at least, this product is great- I say this because I feel the light is a little bit too dark for my complexion nothing too bad, more slight tan, but still not as natural looking as I like.

BB Creams hit the High Street

So I was down in town today and as I had received an email from Superdrug advising that Garnier's new BB Cream was now on the shelves I thought it would be rude not to buy some!

I've yet to test it properly yet so my full review will come at a later date but I thought I would post up some pictures of the high streets answer to the Asian beauty craze.  It comes in 2 shades at the moment, Light (which I have) and Medium and currently retails for £9.99 which isn't that cheap especially for the size.

Garnier's standard box packaging

The Tube- You get 50ml's of product

The consistency fresh out of the tube

Starting to blend

Fully blended

So I will test it out over the next week or so and let you know how I get on.

Loosing my virginity

In the blogging sense that is.

I've been meaning to start this blog for months, and I wish I could say that I've been terribly busy doing this, that and the other, but in fact I've just been procrastinating and sitting on my sofa watching TV!

But tonight I finally bit the bullet whilst Mr WWM  does his usual after work routine of going on the Xbox and playing COD, FIFA and then COD again! And as usual the air is blue from the filth that is coming out of his mouth, apparently his kill death ratio on COD is quite literally a matter of life and death!

So now it's official (all be it a work in progress) I plan on sharing goodies and randomness on a regular basis and I will also be setting up a You Tube channel (or two) to go alongside this blog so you can not only read my ramblings put you can also watch me ramble on. I already have an idea for my first video, so hopefully that will be done and up over the weekend for you all.

Anyway it's now 11:33pm (probably will be later by the time I post this) and after a full week of getting up at 6am for work I am knackered.

So I will say adieu  to you and you and you (it's a Sound of Music thing!) and will chat later.

Ciao
